India’s automotive scene is buzzing with excitement as three major playersโ€”Hyundai, Tata, and Mahindraโ€”gear up to roll out fresh SUV models this month. Hyundai aims to solidify its position in the smaller SUV arena, whereas Tata and Mahindra are targeting upscale segments with their latest offerings. Below, we dive into the details of these anticipated arrivals.

Hyundai’s Revamped Venue Hits the Market

Hyundai’s Indian division is poised to unveil the updated Venue model right away. Teaser photos of both the regular and sportier N Line editions are already out, and reservations are open through showrooms or the web, starting with a deposit of 25,000 rupees. This iteration brings a thorough refresh to its looks and cabin, though the underlying mechanics stay consistent.

Drawing cues from Hyundai’s recent international crossovers, the outside boasts revamped front lights, daytime running LEDs, connecting light bars, revised bumpers, and new wheel designs. Inside, expect an updated control panel and console, plus a combined display setup for screens, along with upgraded amenities like advanced driver assistance tech at level two.

Tata Sierra Makes a Comeback in Modern Form

Tata’s iconic Sierra badge is making its way back to showrooms on the 25th of November in a ready-for-sale version. The gasoline and diesel options are likely to debut initially, with an all-electric variant following soon after. Powertrain choices may include a naturally aspirated 1.5-liter gas engine, a turbocharged 1.5-liter gas unit, and a 1.5-liter diesel.

The battery-powered model could share components with the Harrier’s electric sibling, offering dual battery sizes that promise more than 500 kilometers of real-life range per full charge. Feature highlights encompass a three-screen dashboard arrangement (for entertainment, instrumentation, and co-driver use), sophisticated level-two safety aids, an expansive roof window, cooled seating, and additional luxuries.

Mahindra’s XEV 9S Electrifies the Full-Size Segment

On November 27, Mahindra will showcase the XEV 9S during their ‘Scream Electric’ gathering in Bangaloreโ€”a spacious electric SUV with seating for three rows. Built from scratch on the INGLO modular base, it promises a roomy interior thanks to its even flooring and superior handling from a balanced weight distribution.

Preview visuals highlight distinctive styling touches like a full-width rear LED strip, bold XEV 9S badging, and other eye-catching elements. Anticipated specs involve multiple battery configurations yielding over 500 km of travel on one charge, quick DC charging compatibility, and the ability to supply power externally. The inside might include a multi-screen interface, a wide sunroof, adjustable and airy seats, plus level-two autonomous driving support.
