Ola Electric has achieved a monumental milestone, becoming the first Indian electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer to produce one million units. In just four years since starting production in 2021, the company has reached this landmark at its sprawling Futurefactory in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu. To commemorate this feat, Ola unveiled the Roadster X+ Special Edition, a striking motorcycle that blends style, sustainability, and cutting-edge technology. Alongside this, Ola introduced new models powered by its innovative 4680 Bharat Cell technology, reinforcing its leadership in Indiaโ€™s EV two-wheeler market.

Roadster X+ Special Edition: A Milestone Marvel

The Roadster X+ Special Edition stands out with its bold midnight blue finish, accented by vibrant red highlights on the rims, a dual-tone seat, and even the battery casing. Ola has incorporated eco-conscious elements, such as unique badges crafted from recycled copper scrap and electroplated bar ends, showcasing its commitment to sustainable design. Priced at Rs. 1,89,999, the Roadster X+ features a robust 9.1 kWh battery, offering impressive range and performance. Deliveries are set to commence during the festive Navratri period, making it a perfect time for buyers to join the EV revolution.

New Additions to the Ola Lineup

At its annual Sankalp event, Ola Electric unveiled two additional models powered by the homegrown 4680 Bharat Cell technology. The S1 Pro+, priced at Rs. 1,69,999, comes equipped with a 5.2 kWh battery, promising a balance of efficiency and power. Alongside it, the S1 Pro Sport enters the lineup as a performance-oriented scooter, available with 4 kWh and 5.2 kWh battery options, starting at an introductory price of Rs. 1,49,999. Deliveries for the S1 Pro Sport are slated to begin in January 2026.

The S1 Pro Sport is designed to thrill, boasting a powerful 16 kW electric motor paired with a 5.2 kWh battery. It offers an IDC-certified range of up to 320 km and a top speed of 152 kmph. With a blistering 0-40 kmph acceleration in just 2 seconds, this scooter is built for riders seeking an exhilarating experience.

Olaโ€™s Journey to One Million

Ola Electricโ€™s rise to producing one million vehicles in under four years is a testament to its vision and execution. Starting from scratch, the company has transformed into Indiaโ€™s leading EV two-wheeler manufacturer, driven by its state-of-the-art Futurefactory. The S1 portfolio has been the backbone of Olaโ€™s success, but the introduction of motorcycles like the Roadster X and performance scooters like the S1 Pro Sport signals its ambition to capture a broader audience.

An Ola Electric spokesperson shared, โ€œReaching one million vehicles is a proud moment for us and a tribute to every Indian who believed in our vision. In just four years, weโ€™ve built a legacy of innovation, proving that world-class electric vehicles can be designed and manufactured in India.
