In Q2 FY26, TVS recorded a total sales volume of 1,506,950 units, reflecting an impressive year-on-year (YoY) growth of 22.69% compared to 1,228,223 units sold during the same period in FY25. This surge underscores the companyโ€™s ability to capture growing consumer demand and deliver products that resonate with diverse market segments.

Two-Wheeler Sales Surge

The two-wheeler segment, a cornerstone of TVSโ€™s portfolio, witnessed a significant upswing, with sales climbing to 1,454,000 units in Q2 FY26, up 22% from 1,190,000 units in Q2 FY25. This growth highlights the strong appeal of TVSโ€™s motorcycles and scooters, driven by innovative designs, advanced technology, and reliable performance.

Three-Wheeler Segment Shines

TVSโ€™s three-wheeler category also delivered exceptional results, with sales reaching 53,000 units in Q2 FY26, a remarkable 41% increase from 38,000 units in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. This growth reflects the rising demand for TVSโ€™s versatile and efficient three-wheeler offerings in both domestic and international markets.

Export Growth Accelerates

On the global front, TVS strengthened its presence with a 30% YoY increase in exports, shipping 400,000 units in Q2 FY26 compared to 309,000 units in Q2 FY25. This achievement underscores the companyโ€™s growing footprint in international markets and its ability to cater to diverse customer preferences worldwide.

September 2025: A Month of Milestones

For the month of September 2025 alone, TVS reported total sales of 541,064 units, marking a 12% YoY growth from 482,495 units in September 2024. This performance reflects the companyโ€™s consistent momentum and strategic focus on meeting market demands.

Two-Wheeler Breakdown

  • Total Two-Wheeler Sales: TVS sold 523,923 two-wheelers in September 2025, an 11% increase from 471,792 units in September 2024.
  • Domestic Two-Wheeler Sales: The domestic market saw a 12% YoY growth, with sales rising to 413,279 units from 369,123 units in the same month last year.
  • Motorcycle Segment: Motorcycles recorded a 9% YoY growth, driven by strong demand for TVSโ€™s performance-oriented models.
  • Scooter Segment: Scooters outperformed with a 17% YoY increase, reflecting their popularity among urban and young consumers.

Electric Vehicle Contributions

The electric vehicle (EV) segment contributed 31,266 units to Septemberโ€™s sales, achieving an 8% YoY growth compared to 28,901 units in September 2024. Despite this progress, the company noted challenges in sourcing rare earth magnets, which may impact EV production in the near to medium term.

Three-Wheeler Surge

The three-wheeler segment saw a phenomenal 60% YoY growth in September 2025, with sales rising to 17,141 units from 10,703 units in September 2024. This growth highlights TVSโ€™s strong positioning in the commercial vehicle space.

Export Highlights

Total exports in September 2025 reached 122,108 units, a 10% YoY increase from 111,007 units in September 2024, further cementing TVSโ€™s global reach.
