Royal Enfield Himalayan 750 Previewed: Flagship Adventure Bike Set for 2026 Launch

Royal Enfield has ignited rider enthusiasm by dropping intense teaser footage of its upcoming powerhouse, the Himalayan 750, just before the EICMA 2025 showcase. The campaign proudly declares โ€œBorn at 5,632 meters,โ€ spotlighting the extreme Mana Pass where engineers pushed the motorcycle through grueling high-elevation trials.

Positioned as the ultimate adventure tourer in Royal Enfieldโ€™s portfolio, this model will sit above the existing Himalayan 450 and is scheduled to reach showrooms across India and international markets sometime in 2026. While an electric counterpart is in development under the same badge, the petrol-powered version is the first to enter production readiness.

Rugged Design and Touring-Ready Stature

Spy photographs of development prototypes reveal a beefier front fairing, an extended windshield for wind protection, a generously sized fuel reservoir, and a completely fresh frame incorporating a linked monoshock rear suspension. Although the overall styling echoes the smaller 450 sibling, the larger proportions and balanced ergonomics scream long-haul capability and off-road confidence.

The rear lighting cluster integrates tail lamps and indicators in a single unit identical to the 450, while the rider interface upgrades to a vibrant full-color TFT dashboard offering phone pairing and turn-by-turn guidance. Expect selectable riding modes and electronic rider aids to further refine the experience.

All-New 750 cc Parallel-Twin Heart

At the core beats a brand-new 750 cc parallel-twin powerplant, an enlarged and torque-rich derivative of Royal Enfieldโ€™s proven 650 cc architecture. Mated to a slick six-speed transmission and slip-and-assist clutch, the engine is projected to deliver over 50 horsepower and 55 Newton-meters of twist.

Braking duties fall to dual front rotors gripped by ByBre calipers, complemented by fully tunable upside-down front forks and a rear monoshock with preload adjustment. The adventure DNA shines through with a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoked wheel combo, ready for both highway miles and rough trails.

Smart Engineering for Extreme Conditions

Thermal efficiency receives attention via a repositioned oil cooler and rerouted exhaust system, ensuring reliable performance at altitude. Protective elements include a robust skid plate, laterally mounted guard bars, and factory provisions for luggage racks and spotlights, making it a complete expedition machine.

Competitive Positioning in the Mid-Weight ADV Segment

Once available, the Himalayan 750 will challenge established players such as the Honda CB500X, the forthcoming BMW F 450 GS, and the Kawasaki KLE 500, carving a niche for riders seeking authentic character blended with modern capability.
