Mahindra is all set to drop its biggest electric bomb yet the XEV 9S, a proper seven-seat, three-row electric SUV that will hit the roads on 27 November 2025 in Bengaluru. This beast will officially become Mahindraโs first fully electric family hauler with space for the whole gang, taking the fight straight to the likes of Tata Safari EV and upcoming big electric SUVs.
Killer Looks That Scream Future
Forget the regular XUV700 face. The XEV 9S is going full sci-fi with stacked vertical headlamps, a completely closed front grille, and a super-sharp full-width LED light bar that looks aggressive as hell. The boomerang-style LED DRLs give it that instant โIโm electric and I know itโ vibe. At the back, you get a sleek shark-fin antenna and another connected LED tail-light setup that makes it stand out in traffic, day or night.
Inside Itโs Pure Luxury on Wheels
Step inside and youโre greeted by a massive triple-screen dashboard that stretches almost the entire width โ exactly like its cousin XEV 9e, but bigger and bolder. The cabin is finished in a classy light-color theme that feels premium and airy. Behind the two-spoke steering wheel (rocking the iconic Mahindra Twin Peaks logo) sits a cockpit made for kings.
The real party trick? Second-row Boss Mode. Those rear seats recline like lazy-boy chairs, perfect for the big boss chilling while someone else drives. Above your head stretches a gigantic panoramic sunroof that floods the entire cabin with light โ first row, second row, everybody gets the sky view.
Built on the Solid INGLO Platform
Under the skin, the XEV 9S uses the same tough and modular INGLO skateboard platform that powers the XEV 9e and BE 6. That means big battery options, rear-wheel or all-wheel drive setups, and Mahindra promises more than 500 km real-world range even with seven people and luggage on board.
