Mahindra has delivered yet another strong performance in November 2025, proving once again why it remains one of the fastest-growing automotive brands in India. The home-grown giant sold a total of 92,670 vehicles across all categories in November 2025, registering a healthy 19% year-on-year growth. The star of the show continues to be its SUV lineup, while commercial vehicles and three-wheelers also contributed significantly to the positive numbers.
SUV Sales Shine Bright Once Again
Mahindra dispatched 56,336 SUVs in the domestic market during November 2025 โ a solid 21.88% jump compared to 46,222 units sold in November 2024. Thatโs an addition of over 10,000 units in a single year, underlining the massive popularity of models like Scorpio, Scorpio-N, Thar, XUV700, XUV 3XO, and the newly launched electric offerings.
However, on a month-on-month basis, SUV sales dropped from a festive-season high of 71,624 units in October 2025 to 56,336 units in November โ a fall of around 21%. This is normal after the heavy buying during the Diwali period and does not take away from the excellent yearly progress.
Year-to-date (AprilโNovember 2025), Mahindra has already sold 4,25,530 SUVs in India, which is 17.9% higher than the same eight-month period last year. The momentum is clearly building, and upcoming electric models are expected to push the numbers even higher.
Commercial Vehicles and Three-Wheelers Stay in the Green
The commercial vehicle division also had reasons to celebrate:
- LCVs below 2-tonne: 3,255 units (up 5% YoY)
- LCVs between 2โ3.5 tonnes: 21,588 units (up 20% YoY)
- Three-wheelers (including electric variants): 8,568 units (up 7% YoY)
On a year-to-date basis, the 2โ3.5 tonne LCV segment and three-wheeler sales grew by 13% and 28% respectively, showing strong and sustained demand from last-mile delivery and rural transport customers.
Exports Keep Climbing
Mahindraโs global footprint continues to expand. The company exported 2,923 vehicles in November 2025 (5% growth) and a whopping 27,241 units in the first eight months of FY26 โ a massive 30% increase over the previous year.
New Electric Launches Steal the Spotlight
November was extra special because Mahindra celebrated the first anniversary of its โBorn Electricโ platform. To mark the occasion, the company unveiled two exciting products:
- The XEV 9e โ Indiaโs first proper born-electric 7-seater SUV
- The BE 6 Formula E Edition โ a limited-run special version packed with racing-inspired styling
Both vehicles have created huge buzz among buyers looking for stylish, powerful, and zero-emission family SUVs.
Final Word
Speaking on the results, Mr. Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO โ Automotive Division, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., said, โWe are delighted to close November with SUV sales of 56,336 units and overall volumes of 92,670 units โ both showing strong double-digit growth. The response to our new born-electric range has been phenomenal, and we are confident of carrying this momentum forward.โ
