Reaching the second lakh sales mark merely six months after securing its first lakh illustrates exceptional sales velocity. This acceleration points to growing preference for the model among practical, everyday riders. Consequently, Ather now reports that the Rizta accounts for more than seventy percent of the brandโs overall sales volume. Designed specifically to appeal to family users, the scooter has unequivocally met its core market objective.
Substantial Market Share Gains in Central and Northern Regions
Ather Energy has recorded pronounced growth in several key states. In markets like Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, the companyโs quarterly market share doubled from approximately seven percent to fourteen percent. Similarly, Punjab witnessed an increase from eight to fifteen percent, while Uttar Pradesh saw a rise from four to ten percent. These gains confirm the Riztaโs pivotal role in elevating the brandโs presence and competitiveness in previously underrepresented geographic areas.

Propelled by the Riztaโs success, Ather Energy has now exceeded total sales of five lakh electric scooters in India. This aggregate sales data is verified through official Vahan portal and Telangana online registration records. The Riztaโs contribution is fundamental to reaching this aggregate milestone. Parallelly, Ather has aggressively expanded its retail and service network, operating 524 branded Experience Centres as of September 2025. Company leadership projects the Rizta will continue to be instrumental in defining its strategic growth trajectory in the coming years.
