Bajaj Auto has reported its sales figures for November 2025, marking a month of notable challenges. The company sold a total of 191,088 units, reflecting a 3.04% year-over-year decline compared to the 197,086 units sold in November 2024. The month-over-month performance showed an even sharper contraction, with sales dropping by 23.67% from the 250,359 units recorded in October 2025.

1. Pulsar Series: The Unwavering Leader

The Pulsar brand solidified its position as Bajajโ€™s top-selling lineup, accounting for 113,802 units or 59.55% of the companyโ€™s total domestic sales. While this represents a minor 0.58% decrease from the 114,467 units sold in November last year, its dominance remains unchallenged.

A closer look at the Pulsar range reveals varied performances across engine segments:

  • 125cc Models (Pulsar 125, NS125, N125): Contributed 60,002 units, facing a significant 22.34% year-over-year decline.
  • 150cc Models (Pulsar 150, N150): Sold 18,133 units, registering a 13.35% drop compared to the previous year.
  • 160cc Models (Pulsar NS160, N160): Emerged as a major growth driver with 27,113 units, achieving an exceptional 124.61% surge in sales year-over-year.
  • 250cc & 400cc Models: Both segments witnessed positive momentum. The 250cc Pulsars sold 7,909 units (up 118.18%), while the 400cc variants moved 645 units (up 10.82%).

2. Chetak Electric Scooters: A Strong Contender

Securing the second spot, the Chetak electric scooter range posted impressive numbers with 38,022 units sold. This translates to 19.90% of Bajajโ€™s total sales and underscores a robust 47.03% growth, adding 12,162 units compared to November 2024.

3. Platina: Facing Headwinds

The Platina commuter motorcycle settled in third place with 32,040 units, making up 16.77% of total sales. However, the model experienced a steep 28.13% decline in demand compared to the same period last year.

4. CT Series: Moderate Performance

Sales for the CT lineup stood at 4,180 units, marking a slight 2.95% decrease from the 4,307 units sold in November 2024.

5. Avenger Cruisers: Steady Growth

The Avenger cruiser family saw modest growth, selling 1,324 unitsโ€”a 1.85% increase year-over-year. The majority of these sales came from the Avenger 160 (1,060 units), supplemented by the Avenger 220 (264 units).

6. Dominar Tourers: Niche Growth

The performance-oriented Dominar series recorded sales of 709 units, reflecting a 14.17% improvement over the 621 units sold last November. The Dominar 250 accounted for 444 units, while the Dominar 400 contributed 265 units.

7. Freedom 125 CNG: The Sharpest Decline

The most substantial downturn was observed in the Freedom 125 CNG motorcycle, which sold only 1,011 units. This figure represents a dramatic 83.02% collapse in sales, resulting in a loss of 4,942 units compared to its performance in November 2024.

Final Conclusion

November 2025 presented a contrasting picture for Bajaj Auto. While the overall sales trajectory pointed downward, specific brands like Chetak and certain Pulsar segments (160cc, 250cc, 400cc) demonstrated strong growth potential. The stellar performance of the Chetak scooter highlights the accelerating consumer shift toward electric mobility. Conversely, segments like the Platina commuter bike and the Freedom CNG model require strategic attention to address their declining volumes. The companyโ€™s ability to balance its iconic internal combustion engine portfolio with its expanding electric vehicle offerings will be crucial for navigating the evolving two-wheeler market.
