It also secured a commendable 4-star rating in Child Occupant Protection (COP) with a score of 40 out of 49. Bharat NCAP evaluated the Aircrossโs 5S variant, which offers versatile seating options. Constructed with a combination of high-strength steel, Advanced High Strength Steel (AHSS), and Ultra High Strength Steel (UHSS), the SUV is engineered to withstand front and side collisions while preventing cabin intrusion. Citroen India has confirmed the imminent launch of the Aircross X, the second โXโ model in India following the Basalt, set to hit the market in the coming days.

Paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox, it offers a fuel efficiency of 17.50 kmpl. For those seeking more power, the 1.2L 3-cylinder turbocharged PURETECH 110 engine produces 108.6 bhp at 5,500 rpm and 190 Nm of torque at 1,750 rpm. This engine is available with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission, with fuel efficiency figures of 18.50 kmpl and 17.60 kmpl, respectively.
