Design: A Nod To The Past, Eyes On The Future
The Sierra rides on Tata’s latest ARGOS platform. This new architecture is built to house various engine types and comes loaded with contemporary tech and safety features. The design cleverly blends nostalgia with a modern edge. Its tall, boxy shape and huge glass area are a direct tribute to the beloved original model from decades ago. At the same time, sleek LED headlights, full-width LED light strips, and dual-tone alloy wheels give it a completely contemporary and sharp look for 2026.
Performance: Three Engine Choices
Under the bonnet, the Sierra provides three distinct powertrain options:
- A 1.5-litre petrol engine (naturally aspirated) producing 106 PS power and 145 Nm torque.
- A more powerful 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine that delivers 160 PS and 255 Nm.
- A 1.5-litre diesel engine generating 120 PS and a strong 280 Nm of torque.
These engines can be paired with different gearboxes, including a 6-speed manual, a torque-converter automatic, and a dual-clutch automatic (DCA), depending on the variant selected.
Inside The Cabin: A Tech-Focused Space
Step inside, and you’re greeted by a cockpit dominated by screens. The dashboard features a triple-screen layout that includes a digital driver’s display, a central touchscreen for infotainment, and even a separate screen for the front passenger.
The feature list is extensive and includes:
- A premium JBL audio system with a unique soundbar mounted on the dashboard.
- A large panoramic sunroof.
- Wireless phone charging.
- A hands-free powered tailgate.
- Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) for safety.
