Hero MotoCorp has introduced an exciting new single-seat variant of the Xtreme 125R, strategically priced at Rs. 1 lakh (ex-showroom). This model slots neatly between the entry-level IBS variant, priced at Rs. 98,425, and the premium split-seat version with ABS, which retails for Rs. 1.02 lakh (ex-showroom). The single-seat configuration is the primary change, with no additional tweaks to the motorcycleโ€™s core design or mechanics.

The Xtreme 125R single-seater is driven by a reliable 124.7 cc single-cylinder engine, delivering a robust 11.5 horsepower and 10.5 Nm of torque. This engine, paired with a smooth five-speed gearbox, ensures an engaging ride. Notably, this powertrain is also featured in the newly launched Glamour X, showcasing Heroโ€™s commitment to versatile engineering.

Features and Technology

This 2025 model is loaded with modern features tailored for the urban rider. It boasts a fully digital dashboard with Bluetooth connectivity for seamless smartphone integration. The lighting system is entirely LED, including the headlamp, tail lamp, and turn indicators, ensuring excellent visibility and a premium aesthetic. The bikeโ€™s sharp, angular body panels and stylish alloy wheels enhance its sporty appeal. Riders can choose from six vibrant color options: Stallion Black, Firestorm Red, Cobalt Blue, and three additional shades of the same names for a distinct look.

Chassis and Suspension

Built on a sturdy diamond frame, the Xtreme 125R offers a balanced ride. The front suspension features a 37 mm telescopic fork, while the rear is equipped with a hydraulic monoshock for superior comfort and handling. The bike rolls on 17-inch alloy wheels, fitted with a 90/90-17 tubeless tire at the front and a wider 120/80-17 tubeless tire at the rear, ensuring grip and stability.

Dimensions and Braking

Weighing 136 kg, the Xtreme 125R has a wheelbase of 1,319 mm and a ground clearance of 180 mm, making it agile yet practical for varied terrains. The seat height of 794 mm ensures accessibility for a wide range of riders, and the 10-liter fuel tank supports longer journeys. Braking duties are handled by a 240 mm front disc and a 130 mm rear drum brake, with Combined Braking System (CBS) as standard. The top-spec split-seat variant offers single-channel ABS for enhanced safety.
