Mahindra just dropped the sickest version of the BE 6 yet: the Formula E Edition. Theyโre building exactly 999 of these bad boys and no more. If you want one, you better move fast because once theyโre gone, theyโre gone forever.
Price Straight to the point:
- FE2 variant โ โน23.69 lakh (ex-showroom)
- FE3 variant (the fully loaded one) โ โน24.49 lakh (ex-showroom)
When can you actually get your hands on one?
Hereโs the exact timeline Mahindra has locked in:
- Mid-December 2025 โ Online โAdd to Cartโ phase opens
You can go on their website, pick your exact spec (FE2 or FE3, colour, etc.) and lock your configuration. No money needed yet, just reserving your spot in the queue. - 14th January 2026 โ Official bookings open
This is when you actually pay the booking amount (Mahindra hasnโt told us how much the token is yet, but itโll be refundable or adjustable for sure). - 14th February 2026 โ Deliveries start across India
Valentineโs Day 2026 = your new electric rocket lands in your garage.
What makes this thing look properly race-car level?
Mahindra went full Formula E mad scientist on the styling:
- Proper Formula E race livery with FIA logos and graphics all over the bonnet, doors and fenders
- Massive R20 alloys that fill the arches perfectly
- Fixed panoramic glass roof
- Those signature round LED projector headlights and aggressive DRLs
- Special Formula E badges everywhere so everyone knows you got the rare one
Inside, the racing vibe continues without being over-the-top:
- Dual 12.3-inch screens stitched together
- Latest Mahindra software with wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay
- Dolby Atmos sound system that actually slaps
- Built-in Netflix, Prime Video, Hotstar, etc.
- Alexa built-in (yes, you can yell at your car like you yell at your Echo)
- The FE3 gets exclusive Formula E startup animations and extra red stitching/details
Performance โ same monster powertrain, zero compromises
No changes under the skin, which is a good thing because the numbers are mental:
- 210 kW (282 bhp) permanent-magnet electric motor
- 380 Nm of instant torque
- 79 kWh battery pack
- 180 kW DC fast charging โ 20% to 80% in about 20 minutes
- Adaptive suspension, boost mode, variable steering ratio, multi-level regen braking
- Only 10-metre turning circle (insane for something this size)

Loaded to the brim โ stuff you actually care about
Both FE2 and FE3 get:
- Level 2 ADAS (adaptive cruise, lane keep, auto emergency braking, the works)
- 6 airbags + 360ยฐ camera + all-disc brakes + brake-by-wire
- Ventilated and powered front seats (FE3)
- Dual-zone climate, rear AC vents, ambient lighting, wireless charger
- Proper frunk (front boot) with light and drain plug
- 60:40 split-folding rear seats
Bottom line: If you want the coolest, rarest, most track-inspired BE 6 that Mahindra will ever make, mark these three dates mid-December 2025 (add to cart), 14 Jan 2026 (book it), 14 Feb 2026 (drive it home). Only 999 lucky owners will ever get the keys.
