Mahindra In the bustling month of October 2025, which marked the initial full period following the updated GST rates and aligned perfectly with the height of festive celebrations, numerous automakers experienced robust expansion. Among them, Mahindra stood out with one of the most significant boosts in performance.
Fueled by the latest updates to models like the Thar and Bolero, Mahindra achieved a remarkable 31% increase in automotive deliveries during October 2025. The brand moved 71,624 units, a substantial rise from the 54,504 vehicles sold in the corresponding period of 2024.
Thar Lineup Leads with Exceptional Growth
The Thar series, encompassing the traditional three-door variant and the expanded five-door Roxx edition, delivered an astonishing 51% year-on-year advancement in October 2025. Deliveries escalated from 7,944 units in the prior year to 12,029 units. This leap can largely be attributed to the refreshed three-door model launched on October 3rd, sparking heightened consumer interest.
Bolero Family Shows Strong Momentum
The Bolero lineup, which includes the timeless original, the Neo (previously known as TUV300), and the Neo Plus (once called TUV300 Plus), posted a solid 46% yearly uptick. Sales climbed from 9,849 to 14,343 units. The recent enhancements to both the standard Bolero and Neo on October 6th seem to have ignited this positive trend.
Steady Progress for XUV 3XO and Scorpio Ranges
Sales of the XUV 3XO demonstrated a healthy 28% improvement over the previous year, advancing from 9,562 to 12,237 units. Meanwhile, the Scorpio group, featuring the Classic and N versions, grew by 14%, with figures rising from 15,677 to 17,880 units.
New Electric Models Make Their Mark
Launched earlier in March 2025, the BE 6 and XEV 9e added fresh energy to Mahindra’s portfolio. The BE 6 contributed 2,134 units, while the XEV 9e outperformed with 2,708 units. Interestingly, the pricier and larger XEV 9e has maintained stronger appeal among buyers in this emerging electric segment.
Challenges for Select Models
Not all models thrived equally. The XUV700, a popular three-row sport utility vehicle, saw a minor 3% dip, dropping from 10,435 to 10,139 units. More notably, the XUV400, which competes in the compact crossover space and offers an electric option, faced a steep 85% decline, plummeting from 1,000 to just 152 units.
The Marazzo MPV, still available at certain outlets, recorded minimal activity with only 2 units sold, reflecting a 95% fall from 37 units in October 2024.
