In the side impact test, it earned full marks, ensuring excellent protection for critical areas like the head, chest, and pelvis. The Invictoโs child safety performance was equally impressive, scoring 45 out of 49 points. Using recommended child restraint systems, the MPV achieved a perfect 24 out of 24 in dynamic tests for 18-month-old and three-year-old dummies seated in rearward-facing seats. Installation checks for child seats earned a flawless 12 out of 12, while the vehicle assessment portion scored slightly lower but still reflected a high safety standard. ISOFIX anchors on the second-row outboard seats further enhance child safety, though they are not available in the third row.
Comprehensive Safety Features
Weighing 1,946 kg during testing, the Invicto comes equipped with a robust safety suite across all trims. Standard features include six airbags (front, side, and curtain) and side chest and pelvis airbags, though knee airbags are absent. Seatbelt pretensioners and load limiters are provided for front occupants, with three-point seatbelts and reminders for all seating positions. The MPV also includes electronic stability control, pedestrian protection systems, ABS with EBD, all-four disc brakes, hill-hold assist, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and an electronic parking brake with auto-hold functionality.
