Skoda India has refreshed its compact SUV lineup by adding two fresh variants to the Kylaq range: an affordable Classic+ at the entry level and a fully loaded Prestige+ at the top. The company revealed these changes while unveiling the updated Kushaq, and also announced extra equipment for the existing Signature and Signature+ models.
The Kylaq family now offers six variants instead of the previous four, with a sporty Sportline edition planned for launch around the festive season in 2026.
Classic+ Trim- Big Features at a Budget Price
The new Classic+ sits right above the base Classic model and starts at Rs. 8.25 lakh for the six-speed manual version and Rs. 9.25 lakh for the automatic (ex-showroom prices).
Unlike the entry-level Classic, buyers can choose either gearbox with this variant. It runs on the same 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine that produces 115 horsepower and 178 Nm of torque.
This new option brings down the price of the Kylaq automatic by a solid Rs. 85,000 compared to before.
What makes the Classic+ stand out is the long list of upscale features it adds for just Rs. 66,000 more than the base manual model. Buyers get:
- 16-inch alloy wheels
- Electric sunroof
- Cruise control
- Steering wheel audio and phone controls
- Rain-sensing automatic wipers
- Auto-dimming interior rear-view mirror
At an estimated on-road price of around Rs. 12 lakh (depending on location), the Classic+ delivers excellent value for anyone wanting a well-equipped compact SUV without stretching the budget.

Upgrades for Signature and Signature+ Variants
Skoda has also improved the mid-range Signature models. Both the Signature and Signature+ now include features that were earlier limited to higher trims:
- Electric sunroof
- Rear wiper and washer
- Automatic rain-sensing wipers
- Paddle shifters (on automatic versions)
Updated prices for Signature are Rs. 9.43 lakh (manual) and Rs. 10.43 lakh (automatic). The Signature+ is now priced at Rs. 10.77 lakh (manual) and Rs. 11.77 lakh (automatic).
New Top-End Prestige+ Variant
At the premium end, Skoda has introduced the Prestige+ as the most feature-packed choice, priced at Rs. 11.99 lakh (manual) and Rs. 12.99 lakh (automatic).
To make a clear difference, the regular Prestige variant has become cheaper by Rs. 24,000 after removing the powered driverโs seat adjustment.
Sportline Variant Coming Soon
Skoda has confirmed a Kylaq Sportline model later this year. While the engine and mechanical parts will stay the same, expect bolder styling touches inside and out to give it a more dynamic look.

Final Pricing Overview
With these updates, the Skoda Kylaq range now starts at Rs. 7.59 lakh for the base Classic and goes up to Rs. 12.99 lakh for the top Prestige+ automatic (all prices ex-showroom).
The expanded lineup, smarter pricing, and added features make the Kylaq one of the most compelling options in the compact SUV segment for Indian buyers looking for European build quality at competitive rates.
