Suzuki Motorcycle India has started 2026 on a strong note by opening bookings for its very first electric scooter, the Suzuki e-Access. This model marks Suzukiโs official entry into the global electric two-wheeler market, and India is the first country to get it.
A New Electric Option from a Trusted Brand
In India, Suzuki is best known for reliable 125cc scooters like the Access 125 and Burgman Street. While the company continues to work on fresh motorcycle models like the next-generation Gixxer series, it has now stepped into the fast-growing electric scooter space with the e-Access.
Bookings are officially open, and the scooter carries an introductory launch price of Rs 1.88 lakh (ex-showroom). Customers can book it through Suzuki dealerships or popular online platforms like Flipkart.
Stylish Design and Practical Features
The e-Access stands out with its sharp, modern looks and comes in four attractive dual-tone colour options:
- Metallic Matte Black No.2 with Metallic Matte Bordeaux Red
- Pearl Grace White with Metallic Matte Fibroin Gray
- Pearl Jade Green with Metallic Matte Fibroin Gray
- Metallic Matte Stellar Blue with Metallic Matte Fibroin Gray
Built as a family-friendly scooter, it directly competes with models like the Bajaj Chetak, Ather Rizta, Hero Vida VX2, and TVS iQube. It offers a long and comfortable seat, generous under-seat storage, two convenient hooks on the floorboard, a front utility pocket, full LED lighting, a hazard switch, and stylish dual-tone alloy wheels.

Performance and Battery Specifications
The e-Access is powered by a 5.5 bhp electric motor that delivers 15 Nm of torque and drives the rear wheel through a quiet, low-maintenance belt system. It uses a 3.07 kWh LFP (Lithium Ferro Phosphate) battery pack that promises a real-world range of 95 km on a single charge.
Charging times are practical:
