Suzuki is gearing up for a standout display at the upcoming 2026 Tokyo Auto Salon, Japan’s leading showcase for custom and high-performance vehicles. The spotlight shines on a uniquely themed creation with global appeal: the Suzuki Jimny Nomade Hunter Wilds Edition. This special model is based on the popular five-door Jimny, which is manufactured in India and sold in Japan under the “Nomade” name.
Inspired by the Game World
This special edition Jimny draws direct inspiration from Monster Hunter Wilds, a major cross-platform action RPG released by Capcom. The designers took cues from the pop-up camps players use as base camps within the game’s vast landscapes. The vehicle’s exterior features a full wrap that mimics a dark brown expedition tent, complete with artistic depictions of barbed wire, wild foliage, tribal patterns, and dramatic claw mark scratches, making it look like it just drove out of the game.
Custom Expedition-Ready Features
Beyond the wrap, Suzuki has outfitted this Jimny with several distinctive parts. It sports the official heritage-style radiator grille, a custom front bumper add-on marked with bold “X” symbols and faux recovery hooks, and a practical roof carrier. The look is finished with exclusive retro-style alloy wheels wrapped in Bridgestone Dueler H/T tires, emphasizing its rugged, adventure-ready character.

A Matching Two-Wheeled Creature
Adding to the themed display, Suzuki will also present the DR-Z4S Monster Hunter Wilds Edition, a dual-sport motorcycle. This bike is designed to resemble the Seikret, a bird wyvern used for transportation in the video game. Suzuki has confirmed that both these special editions are strictly promotional concepts with no plans for commercial production or sale.
Racing Pedigree on Display
Alongside these fantasy-inspired machines, Suzuki will showcase real-world racing engineering. The actual Swift Sport race car campaigned by AutoLabo Racing in the 2025 ENEOS Super Taikyu endurance series will be on display. Furthermore, fans can attend a talk show on January 10th and 11th featuring driver Daisuke Ito, team boss and builder Koji Kunimatsu, and Suzuki’s own engineers.
