Three-Wheeler Segment Shines
TVSโs three-wheeler category also delivered exceptional results, with sales reaching 53,000 units in Q2 FY26, a remarkable 41% increase from 38,000 units in the corresponding quarter of the previous year. On the global front, TVS strengthened its presence with a 30% YoY increase in exports, shipping 400,000 units in Q2 FY26 compared to 309,000 units in Q2 FY25. - Total Two-Wheeler Sales: TVS sold 523,923 two-wheelers in September 2025, an 11% increase from 471,792 units in September 2024.
- Domestic Two-Wheeler Sales: The domestic market saw a 12% YoY growth, with sales rising to 413,279 units from 369,123 units in the same month last year.
- Motorcycle Segment: Motorcycles recorded a 9% YoY growth, driven by strong demand for TVSโs performance-oriented models.
- Scooter Segment: Scooters outperformed with a 17% YoY increase, reflecting their popularity among urban and young consumers.
Electric Vehicle Contributions
The electric vehicle (EV) segment contributed 31,266 units to Septemberโs sales, achieving an 8% YoY growth compared to 28,901 units in September 2024. Despite this progress, the company noted challenges in sourcing rare earth magnets, which may impact EV production in the near to medium term.
Three-Wheeler Surge
The three-wheeler segment saw a phenomenal 60% YoY growth in September 2025, with sales rising to 17,141 units from 10,703 units in September 2024. This growth highlights TVSโs strong positioning in the commercial vehicle space.
